Packing Tape

In the case of flat artworks, the corners are always prone to damage and that’s why they need extra protection. Corner protectors are a very effective tool to save your artwork from any damage during loading, unloading, transit, etc. Do not forget to buy corner protectors or you can also make them yourself, only if you have time to spare.

Foam Board

For flat artworks, the foam board is very important for safe packaging and storage. It is easily available at any frame store or art supply. If you can find an archival quality foam board, it is best.

These are very small, and they settle during transit. Thus, they do not provide enough protection.

Garbage Bin Bags

This is nothing but an insult to your artwork. It does not look good besides if you are not careful in pasting item names on the packed items, you don’t want to imagine where your artwork will end up.

Non-Archival Quality Tissue Paper

Non-Archival means acid-free and it is important that you don’t wrap your artwork in non-archival tissue paper. Instead, use bubble wrap.
